Hi everyone

Today we are going to talk about AMBITION.

According to me ambition generally means 'a strong desire to do or become something.

when I was a child, still I'm, my ambition was to be a singer, because I used to sing well, but when my adolescence kicked in, my voice became crap! So I no longer want to be a singer.

Then I wanted to be a hacker, so I tried it, for 6 months, thn I realized it's fuckin hard, and it's not for me.

I wanted to be a designer, um same thing happened, it dint drive me that much.

I wanted to be a engineer or a doctor, but I took different direction.

I've dreamed of becoming a civil servant, yeh  I'm influenced by my parents .

now

I want to be a philosopher.
I want to be a monk.

I also want to start a business.

I want to be a investment banker.

I want to be in the top management in a company.

But, all of these ambitions have one thing in common, that is the status/money involved.

According to me, there are two kinds of games humans play,
1. Money game
2. Status game

Everyone want to win in any of it.

Guys who fail at the money game, start playing status games.

Status is what all mammals want.
Humans play the status game at the core, they want themselves to be valued, and play status game in a small scale
Example a poor man, feels proud of himself by dominating his wife.

So you guys decide which game you want to play, if both that is good.

Book I'm reading this week and next week: Almanack of Naval Ravikant- A guide to Wealth and Happiness .
